Omar has taken part in DJ swing’s quest for a donor by giving blood and supporting the DJ Swings campaign. You may of heard of DJ Swing’s appeal for a bone marrow transplant, but many of you probably haven’t listened to it. All that’s needed of you is a simple blood test to determine whether or not you’re eligible to be a match. If you go to any hospital and request a blood test and then ask for the data to be uploaded onto the national bone marrow database you could be saving a life. That’s all you need to do!
Omar has been busy in the studio, this time working on other peoples projects, Shola Ama and Kele LeRoc to name a few.
Did you see Omar performing with Mica Paris and Nate James at the Mobo tribute to Luther Vandross?
